Meet us Saturday, July 10 at 10 am in the Sherman Gallery for coffee before his talk and check out Outside the Box: The Art of Wood which features, among others, two of his protégées.
Gary Rogowski started woodworking in 1974 with a radial-arm saw and his dad’s old hand planes. His Portland, Oregon studio is the center for tradition-based woodworking classes in the Pacific Northwest. Holding year-round classes for novice to mastery level students, the studio offers a hands-on approach that values the time spent in the shop as much as the work produced He has produced numerous articles and videos for The Taunton Press.
