Fall Artwalk at the Holter features our much anticipated annual Holiday Showcase “Ho Ho HOLTER” offering unique holiday gift ideas created by over 150 artists, live music, food and drinks, a visit from Santa for kids and family photos, and DUCKMANIA!Douglas Baldwin and his tiny duck-like figures out of red terra cotta clay set to life with a unique clay-mation video process. The result is sure to raise your spirits!

Carole Kim: Cultural Crossroads Artist-in-Residence

An upcoming series of events will take place at the Holter Museum of Art as part of Guest Artist, Los Angeles-based, Carole Kim’s Cultural Crossroads residency in October 2010. Kim’s In one ear… and in another is the first iteration of a body of work that features a live performance and an ongoing video installation that will involve communities of artists, musicians/composers, writers, and filmmakers from Southern California as well as Montana, who will help bring the performance to life.

Multiple sounds, conflicting images, sensory overload. How do we make sense of it all?  In one ear . . .” is a multimedia live performance and ongoing video installation by LA based artist Carole Kim that involves local artists, musicians, composers, writers, and filmmakers.

Join Cultural Crossroads Artist-in-Residence Carole Kim at October’s 3rd Thursday as she brings this installation to life!
