The Holter Museum will be closed Thanksgiving Day and will re-open the following day for regular Friday hours. We will also be closed December 25 and January 1.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOLTER
From the West
Follow Highway 12 East toward Helena; turn Right on N Benton Avenue, continue on N Park Avenue; Turn Left on W Lawrence Street, The Holter is on your left.
From the East, North, & South
Follow Highway 12 West, continue on Prospect Avenue; Turn Left on N Montana Ave; Take 2nd Right on 11th Avenue; Turn Left on N Warren Street; Take first Right on E Lawrence Street, the Holter is on your right.
Free one-hour and two-hour Parking is available in front of the Museum on Lawrence Street. Parking for 50 cents/hour is available in the Helena Parking Commission’s Lot across Lawrence Street; the entrance to the lot is on Jackson Street. There is an accessible crosswalk at the intersection of Lawrence and Jacskon Streets.
The Holter strives to offer a barrier-free facility to all visitors and program participants. The museum facility, including restrooms, is wheelchair accessible. Benches are also available in museum galleries.

The Holter features a variety of exhibitions year-round. Tours of the exhibitions led by Museum Educators are available for people of all ages and interests-- from school groups to community groups, people with disabilities, touring groups, and retired adults. Tours are free of charge for up to an hour in the galleries. Please contact the Education Department by e-mail at least two weeks in advance of your visit to schedule a tour. We would love to see you soon!
