There’s always something fun going on at the Holter!

Preregistration is required for all Holter educational programs. Register online or call (406) 442-6400. Tuition and/or scholarship request due upon registration.

Group Visits

The Holter features a wide variety of exhibitions year-round. Tours of the exhibitions led by Museum Educators are available for people of all ages and interests – from school groups to community groups, people with disabilities, touring groups, and retired adults. Tours are free of charge for up to an hour in the galleries. Please contact the education department by e-mail at Sondra@holtermuseum.org or phone (406) 442-6400 ext. 108 at least two weeks in advance of your visit to schedule a tour. We would love to see you soon!

Kids Class Policies

We must have an emergency contact phone number before a child can participate in a class. Holter staff and instructors will refer any physical complaints to the emergency contact who will be responsible for treatment decisions. Participants should wear clothing that can get dirty and paint-spattered. Washable materials are used whenever possible, but stains are inevitable.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Full tuition will be refunded on any cancellation up to two weeks prior to beginning of class. After that, 40% of tuition will be refunded upon cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to low enrollment. Registered participants will receive notification in a timely manner and a full tuition refund.

Scholarship information

Holter classes are for everyone! The Ethel Harrison Education Fund provides assistance for those who cannot afford tuition. Applying for a scholarship is easy. Fill out the online form, including a statement of need for a scholarship and the value of the workshop to you or the student. Please include the amount you are able to pay for the workshop. If you’re unable to apply online, please call or visit the Museum. For further scholarship information or to contribute to the scholarship fund, please call the museum at (406) 442-6400 ext. 108.
